


I have been feeling like doo-doo but still earning Stickers like a boss.
(apparently I flu-plan as well as I meal-plan… not well)
My Stickers for the past 2 days:
– cleaned up after breakfast
– Took The Time To (TTTT) brew decaf coffee (instead of making instant)
– gave Fiber One cereal a chance (yum! surprisingly sweet!)
– got Charlie to empty the dishwasher
– hung Clara’s coat up
– put away TV trays
– ab challenge BEFORE coffee
– water before breakfast
– finished reading Made to Crave weekly assignment
– modified side planks
– drank Quart 2
– cleaned up after myself
– TTTT put laundry in hamper
– TTTT go potty
– TTTT put laundry in bathroom away
– talked to Greg about feeling defeated
– talked to God about my hurt feelings
– threw away an old gift I’ve had for years that I was just saving out of guilt
– drank all 4 Quarts of water
– NO CAFFEINE Day 3!
– โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ laundry
– one packet of Truvia instead of 2
– got started on flip charts (water and laundry)

– got off the treadmill (mid workout) to cook dinner for everyone

– got girls to bed early
– 10,000 steps!
– reasonable amount of ice cream
– arranged a babysitter for Valentine’s Day instead of leaving it all up to my husband and then being disappointed
– cleaned up old dry piece of ham off the toy room floor that I stepped over 10 times today

Today’s Stickers:
– Took The Time To (TTTT) empty potty chair
– TTTT empty potty chair (again!)
– got completely ready before coffee
– gave away annoying high water jeans that get on my nerves and cheap boots that hurt my feet
– made dinner AT HOME… and it was TOTALLY imperfect… the kids’ behavior, the timing, the dog, the stress… it was so awkward and SO WONDERFUL
– brought in a fork that had been in one if our vehicles for probably 3 weeks
– maintained a good attitude when I felt like my husband undermined my authority in front of the kids (I know him well enough to know that was not his intention… he is an awesome human being)
– maintained a good attitude when my husband (hard working farmer with aching legs) laid on the couch when there was still lots of work to be done after dinner (he’s still on the couch and there is still work to be done, Lol… 2 beds need sheets)
– TTTT go out to the van and get LINED DISHWASHING GLOVES that my mom gave me (worth it! See previous post)
– TTTT help my kids play house… made little ice cream dishes full of Greek yogurt and blueberries… They loved it. But! It’s because of the Truvia! Truvia + greek yogurt =
– didn’t lick the 0 Point greek yogurt off the spoon
– sipped on water as I cleaned the kitchen
– bought groceries while the boys were at basketball practice
– came up with an eat at home reward system (@amy.jo.watson… yes, girl… look at us go
)
– proactively took care of the desire to munch while I cook by slicing an apple for an appetizer! We all enjoyed it… especially the kids!

January 17th Stickers:
– took the time to (TTTT) make my bed
– TTTT shower (What? It’s time consuming!)
– reached out and GOT A BABYSITTER for tonight!
– made rest a priority
– wore an imperfect outfit
– was obedient to God (thank you, @cupcake41k, for pointing that out
– clung to my blue dot
– ordered water with dinner
– ordered a sensible Point friendly dinner
– didn’t order 4,000 Point salad after seeing my husband’s (#wantitfirstnotseeitfirst)
– 10 gulps of water before first bite
– kept up Sticker Book on date
– didn’t buy any extra at Target (#wantitfirstnotseeitfirst)
– gave dessert a lot of thought and chose the most minimal option for the most maximal enjoyment (2 fun size Snickers)
– TTTT cook the bacon tonight
– TTTT fill and rum dishwasher
– drank another 32 ounces of water even though I still wouldn’t reach my Gallon goal. (anti-perfectionistic behavior)
– chicken sandwich instead of pizza for lunch
– water before phone
– put phone away in van
– 0 Point breakfast
– STOPPED MID BINGE!!!
– cup of decaf to wind down
– didn’t eat any of the bacon I cooked for breakfast even though it’s after midnight and I have new points!
I give myself a sticker for DOING A BEHAVIOR that I want to reinforce. I also DO BEHAVIORS to earn stickers. The stickers are both the CAUSE and the EFFECT of my behaviors… reinforcing the behaviors that I want to reinforce BOTH WAYS!

Today’s Stickers:
– brought kids’ tooth brushes in from out in the van
– didn’t eat the rest of Mary’s dinner roll
– didn’t just buy SOMETHING when I am due a reward
– didn’t go into craft store to look at Stickers
– made grumpy cashier laugh instead of calling her out on being unnecessarily rude
– stuck to list at Bed Bath and Beyond (mostly)
– didn’t eat bread for snack
– took 6 kids to get frozen yogurt and didn’t get any
– didn’t eat any birthday donuts
– ate tuna and peas in a desperate attempt to calm down my appetite. Didn’t work… But I tried.
– got decaf coffee on our way home from frozen yogurt in an attempt to not feel deorived. Worked!
– drank a gallon of water today

Today was an awesome day AND I earned 33 Stickers. Coincidence? I think not.
I give myself Stickers for DOING a behavior that I want to reinforce, and I also DO BEHAVIORS that I want to reinforce TO EARN STICKERS. Stickers are both the CAUSE and the EFFECT of my behaviors that I want to reinforce.

– packed to-go goodies (banana, water, Sticker Book)
– filled van with gas
– asked for prayer (prayer answered!)
– typed out email
– TTTT get caught up on Stickers and $
– TTTT put on coat
– tackled MAJOR task
– good attitude when husband gave me the wrong set of keys for van parked hslf a mile away (STEPS!)

– passed on free popcorn
– single digit snack Points
– checked Points on cake before finishing entire piece (ok, that wasn’t easy to stop mid piece)
– earned blue dot
– finished gallon ay 11:30pm
– didn’t eat leftover chocolate frosting
– set timer, cleaned kitchen for 10 minutes
